Making disciples and planting reproducing churches in India, Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and Myanmar.
“Thus I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on someone else’s foundation...”
Romans 15:20, ESV
Unreached Peoples tend to be concentrated in restricted access countries. So, it is very difficult to get foreign missionaries into these countries. And yet, a sizable portion of the earth's population approximately 40% are unreached, lacking access to God's Word, a church, or a Christian neighbor. In other words, they have no access to the life-saving Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Combining aspects of Business as Mission (BAM), Global Gateway Cities (GGC), and Church Planting Movements (CPM), a “Crossroads City” strategy is based in a city that is both accessible and the center of commerce for closed regions and/or countries. Unreached peoples from these closed areas come to us!
Our entry strategywhich is used to begin broadly sharing the Good Newsis based on connecting with these foreign traders entering the “Crossroads City” by tapping into their desire to become more successful businesspeople. Through our training institute, attractive business training is offered and, ultimately, the Gospel is shared. Persons of Peace are identified and discipled. And, because they are regularly returning to the “Crossroads City” to trade, our training institute also becomes a hub for ongoing discipleship and church planter’s training.
In summary, these traders/church planters then go back to their closed homelands and begin sharing the Gospel and planting churches, resulting in a vibrant Church Planting Movement among a UPG.
